Your First Visit

Expect your first visit at our Williamsburg office to last an hour to an hour and a half. We’ll take a full set of digital X-rays and intraoral photographs, review your medical and dental history, and discuss the reasons for your visit. Your comprehensive checkup will include an inspection of your teeth and gums, an oral cancer screening, and an evaluation of how your top and bottom teeth fit together, called occlusion.

Following your exam, Dr. Morgan will review her findings with you and encourage you to actively participate in selecting the therapies that meet your needs, schedule, and budget. We want you to feel completely at ease and comfortable with your decisions, so feel free to ask questions and voice any concerns you may have.

Before you leave, we’ll schedule your next appointment.

No one likes to arrive for a dental appointment only to fill out forms before they can see the dentist! For your convenience, we’ve made our forms available as downloadable files. You’re welcome to print and complete the forms prior to your appointment to make check-in a breeze.

Wi-Fi

We pride ourselves on respecting your time. Though you will never be kept endlessly waiting in our reception area, we provide Wi-Fi at our Williamsburg office so that you can use your laptop, smart phone, iPad, or other tablet device. Just ask your peronsal care representative for the Wi-Fi password. Your web surfing will remain safe and secure!

Insurance

Williamsburg Smiles is a partcipating provider with Delta Dental, United Concordia, and Cigna dental health plans. Our office gladly accepts other dental insurance plans as well. We are happy to verify your benefits before your appointment and electronically file your claim. Simply call us with your information.

Payment is due at the time of service, including applicable co-pays and deductibles. While we strive to provide you with an accurate estimate of fees, please remember that dental insurance is a contract between you and your provider. We’ll happily work with your insurance company to maximize your benefits and make sure that you receive the full benefit provided by your coverage. Please understand, though, that you are responsible for any fees your insurance doesn’t cover.

Payment Options

We accept cash, checks, American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. You may finance your dental work through CareCredit or Springstone Financial. Learn about their low- and no-interest payment plans or apply online quickly and easily.

If you choose to pre-pay for services of $1000 or more, you’ll receive a 5% discount.
